Savoring God through literacy in His literal Word

If you are a true child of God, you are hungry for the Word of God. (I Peter 2:2)  You are eager to know God’s character and attributes and to know more of Christ and His resurrection power.  (Phil 3:10)  The more you learn of God and Christ, the more your peace, joy, and contentment will increase.  (II Peter 1:2-4)  We believe the Word of God is unique among all books, because it was written by God and is powerful and supernatural and always accomplishes God’s purpose in our hearts.  (Hebrews 4:12,13)  We don’t deliver sermonettes on how to be a better person or how to get more out of life, because knowing God and Christ better and better produces all of these things in us.  (I Cor1:21)  We study God’s Word verse by verse, chapter by chapter, and book by book.  (I Cor 2:13)

If you are not a Christian, you will hear the true gospel message of salvation straight from God’s Word.  We don’t try to entertain or make God’s message appealing, because the true gospel delivers the true truth about our sinfulness, repentance, God’s wrath, and our need for a Savior; Jesus, the perfect sinless sacrifice.  (Romans 1:16)

As a sinner or a saint, you are welcome to join with us as we preach the Word, sing Psalms and Hymns to the Lord, and love one another as Christ loves us.  (Col 3:16)  We gather each Lord’s Day to worship Him and in that worship, we are blessed.
